, Correspondence (2008) is loosely based on the lives of Nelson Mandela and Terry Anderson who both used writing to survive their imprisonment and long-term hostage existence.

 

Heidi Kumao, Tether ( 2010) is based on the life of J.D. Bauby who lived with "locked-in syndrome" and wrote a memoir by blinking out each letter.
