Previous editions of the Media Student’s Book carried chapters directly related to media production practice. For the 5th edition of the book, we decided that this part of the book would be removed and made into a web-based resource. One of the advantages of the website location is that we can utilise examples of production practice and the main part of this section comprises newly commissioned work from the Northern Film School in Leeds.

This section also includes the two production chapters from the 4th edition of the book as downloadable pdfs plus a Case Study of British Cinema:
