Project Packets

One of the purposes of this text is to enable learning-by-doing, allowing the reader to work at their own pace. The following projects include all of the necessary files to complete the projects from the textbook. Each folder contains a QLab workspace to use for working through the project, as well as a completed QLab workspace to use as a comparison, should you need it. You can use these projects along with the step-by-step instructions in your copy of the book to work through every project in the text.

Notes

• Download the entire “QLab 4 Projects” folder onto your Mac’s desktop and work from this folder. Upon opening a project, it will be looking for content files saved to this location.
• These projects were created on my MacBook Pro. Settings for my computer will vary from your own. When opening some projects, you may have to reassign your audio or video output patches to your computer.
• Keep in mind that audio levels will vary strongly from computer to computer, so it is wise to set your Mac’s master audio output at a low level and slowly bring it up to a desired setting.
