Preparation and syncing of dailies using Davinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer

 

Using ProRes footage acquired with the Arri Alexa in Log C, we use Resolve to embed the metadata, transcode the files to MXF and export an ALE.

 

Using Avid, the MXF files are copied to the Avid MediaFiles folder, the audio is imported and sound is synchronized to the picture before creating sub-clips using Autosync.
