Kennedy’s historic speeches at the JFK Presidential Library and Museum Website
Among the many speeches available here are Kennedy’s inaugural address, his remarks to the nation at the height of the Cuban missile crisis in October 1962, his speech on civil rights to the nation on television in June of 1963, and his commencement address at American University in which he asked the nation to rethink some of its assumptions of the Cold War and seek a reduction of tension with the Soviet Union. Kennedy’s communication skill in the early age of television is apparent from these and other speeches.
