Tourism is a Family Business, Hawaii Tourism Authority
The public often has an incomplete understanding of tourism in their communities, especially of the structure and benefits of the tourism sector. These three videos show that tourism supports small family businesses. Community awareness of tourism is very important for destinations and many DMOs recognize this and act to build greater awareness. The Hawaii Tourism Authority in 2015 produced a series of videos called Tourism is a Family Business to share the stories of Hawaiian family businesses spanning several generations.

Kuala Lumpur Tourism Master Plan
It is unusual for a tourism destination plan to be featured in a video production. However, this video explains the main contents of the Kuala Lumpur Tourism Master Plan for 2015–2025. Prepared by the City government, the plan identifies 47 initiatives across nine tourism segments. It also sets several measurable targets to be achieved by 2025.

Vienna 2020
This video is about Vienna’s Tourism Strategy 2020. This upbeat video, uploaded in 2017, displays the positioning and key tourism resources of the city. It also displays the strategy’s goals in a novel way, as 5 x 400 + 20 = 2020 (5 million more overnight stays times €400 million more in hotel revenue plus 20 additional direct flights equals the year 2020).
