About the Authors

Trish and Chris Meyer are the founders of Crish Design, one of the original development sites for After Effects. Using an early version of After Effects, they were one of the first studios to create major-release film opening titles using desktop tools, and have since gone on to create promotional videos for corporate clients from Apple Computer to Xerox. Their design and animation work has also appeared on shows and promos for CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, The Learning Channel, HBO, and PBS.

Chris and Trish have shared their real-world experiences using After Effects at AFI, BDA, NAB, DV Expo, FlashForward, NAB's PostProduction World, MacWorld, the Rocky Mountain VidExpo, Postapalooza, and the Motion Conference, and have written literally hundreds of articles, tutorials, and blog entries on the subject. Their books are often embraced as texts by teachers as well as cherished references by users; After Effects Apprentice 4th Edition is their 13th book on After Effects.
