Slide presentations
At some stage during your university career, you will be asked to prepare a presentation, and the use of visual tools such as PowerPoint slides may form one aspect of the material that you deliver.
A series of slide presentations are attached to provide information as to the kind of material that you may wish to include.
Slides are designed as a prompt for your discussion: they are designed to provide structure and coherence to your discussion and provide a brief statement of key points and issues that you elaborate upon in your presentation.
Slides should not be overloaded with information as this will promote a tendency for the presentation to consist of little more than reading the slides out aloud.
