Welcome to the companion website for Entrepreneurial New Venture Skills, 3rd edition, by Robert N. Lussier, Joel Corman, and David Kimball.
This latest edition of Entrepreneurial New Venture Skills continues to focus on helping students develop entrepreneurial skills, whether they seek to become entrepreneurs or employees. Concentrating on the entrepreneurial start-up process, the third edition of ENVS takes the reader through the steps of selecting, planning, financing, and controlling the new venture. The authors cover multiple forms of new ventures, as well as ways to utilize entrepreneurial skills in other contexts, encouraging students to engage with the material and apply it to their lives in ways that make sense for them.
This companion website offers resources that expand on the skills and exercises from the book, including:
- Instructor’s Manual written by the authors, containing lecture chapter outlines and answers to all learning outcomes, review and discussion questions, application situations questions, case and global case questions. The IMs also include guidelines and discussion prompts for using videos, as well as instructions and ideas for conducting the one time or ongoing assignments: writing a business plan, the 90 Second New Venture Elevator Pitch, Paper Clip Entrepreneurship Challenge, College Entrepreneurial Spirit Award Winners, and the Community Entrepreneurial Spirit Award.
- Test Bank for each chapter, with multiple choice, true/false, and open-ended questions. These Testbanks are presented in Questbank format, which can be exported in a number of formats (including MS Word and Blackboard-compatible formats).
- PowerPoint presentations with slides for class lectures, covering the main concepts and key terminology
- Student Manual with extra skill development features that build on the book, including additional entrepreneurial profiles, elevator pitch assignments, exercises, application situations, and more.
