As school psychologists, we are poised to provide support through technology-based services for parents, teachers and students. There is a wealth of telehealth options available in practice, and our text, Technology Applications in School Psychology Consultation, Supervision, and Training aims to inform readers of contemporary practical and research based applications to using technology across these domains. Including the legal and ethical considerations with providing services through this modality. After introducing each of the co-editors, we discuss something salient to each of us during this unprecedented time.

How to Weave Wellbeing into Your Classroom
Alison Waterhouse
Alison Waterhouse has worked in mainstream, special education and the independent sector for the past 30 years, specialising in working with children with AEN including Mental Health and Wellbeing. She has set up and developed an Independent Therapeutic Special School, developed a role as Teacher in Charge of the Social and Emotional Wellbeing of the Whole School Community and has been an Inclusion Manager and Deputy Head in mainstream schools. She now works as an Independent Educational Consultant for SEN and Wellbeing, is involved in staff training and has her own Educational Psychotherapy practice. Alison works with children who are referred due to difficulties with self-esteem, anger, anxiety, depression and other Mental Health needs as well as children with learning differences. Alison is developing the ‘Circles for Learning’ Project in schools and has already undertaken a Primary Research Project and is now working on a Secondary Research Project. The resources were put together to support staff with these projects.

Developing Good Mental Health and Wellbeing in Children
Andrew Moffat
Andrew Moffat is the author of “No Outsiders in our school: Teaching the Equality Act in primary schools” (2015) and “No Outsiders: Everyone different, everyone welcome” (2020). He has been working full time in schools since 1996 and is currently Personal Development Lead for Excelsior Multi Academy Trust. In 2017 Andrew was awarded an MBE for services to equality and diversity in education and in 2019 he was listed as a top 10 finalist in the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher prize. Following protests against Andrew and his equality work in 2019, he was named “Role Model of the year” by Pink News and “Hero of the year” by the European Diversity Awards.
