The fingers flex when the radius is tapped, but there is no reflex contraction in brachioradialis. The triceps jerk is brisk.

The patient gets into a tangle trying to put her jacket back on, having inadvertently pulled the left sleeve inside out.

Video 7 Weakness of trapezius

The right shoulder is depressed, there is limitation of abduction of the right shoulder, the right scapula wings when the arms are pushed against the wall.

The right scapula lifts away from the chest wall when the arms are extended at the shoulder.
