Welcome
For this third edition of ACTING IN MUSICAL THEATRE: a comprehensive course, we’ve enlisted the help of a number of excellent teacher/scholars to create support materials for the courses you’re using this book in. These teachers have taken their own experiences with this book and created one-semester courses for each section, each of which includes:
- Flexible syllabus that can easily be customized by the user
- Full term weekly assignment guide, with exercises identified
- Grading rubrics for key assignments
- PowerPoint slide decks for most sections and chapters, ideal for your own customizing and lectures
- Additional assignments you might find useful beyond those in the book
- Additional listening and viewing resources to support classroom work and student learning outside
- We’re also including quizzes and other teaching materials to give you multiple ways of teaching from this book.
I’m certain these additional resources will aid you in creating your own courses. Everything is customizable and intended for you to adapt to the unique learning structures and strategies that you’ve developed.
